Description

McFadden has been in our cask range since being brewed for an event at the Leyton Orient Supporters Club in 2018. This traditional session beer commemorates Richard McFadden, Clapton Orient’s top scorer for 4 consecutive seasons from 1911. McFadden joined the 17th Battalion Middlesex Regiment (the “Footballers Battalion”) along with 40 other Orient players and staff and was killed in action in 1916.

McFadden is a refreshing and easy drinking dark ale, subtly hopped with Amarillo hops to allow the complex malt base to shine through.
